Change the carrington mobile version here...
My sites were not really friendly to the ever increasing amount of mobile platforms. This has now changed. Thanks to a plugin called WordPress Mobile Edition and the Carrington Mobile theme, this was easy to achieve. The only snag, although very minor, was the fact that there was a newer version of the theme than the plugin referenced. Nowhere in the documentation could I find a way to make the plugin ‘see’ the new version of the theme. I decided to use some common sense and take a gamble on changing the variable definition in the php file that is the plugin (see illustration). It worked. All I had to do was change ‘carrington-mobile-1.0.2′ into ‘carrington-mobile.1.1′ to make it work. Note the irregular naming convention… that’s a potential pitfall.
Apart from this little hiccup the installation went smoothly and now my blogs are much more mobile friendly. Enjoy!
Henk.

Hoi Henk,

Groet,
Henk
