This week was an exciting week. I discovered two new publishing platforms: the Amazon Kindle store and Createspace.com, also part of the Amazon group. These I embraced and have worked very hard to get a few books up there. Both “Nu-man and other short stories” and “The chronicles of Wormsprong” are now available on the Kindle store. In the very near future the print version of “The chronicles of Wormsprong” will be available through Createspace.com. Apart from that I also managed to do a lot of work on the essays book (My point exactly). After hearing about Monaigne’s book of essays this book suddenly took on a new importance for me. I designed the cover and am now busy editing the essays into a publishable form. A lot of work but very satisfying.
Did I have time for blogging this week you ask? Of course I had, would I forget my trusty readers? Here’s the list:
- Apple is working on a revolution in travel, my slant on the whole tablet hype Apple was subjected to.
- Zen and the art of dealing with hackers, a video in the dog walk series explaining how I felt about one of my sites getting hacked.
- How can I not write about the iPad, and then it arrived and this what I think about it the day after the event.
- Of isolation and the writer, a piece on being a writer and the isolation this occupation seems to need.
- Chapter 9: Food is serious business, the next chapter of the Jack Russell book.
- And some pictures of said JRT.
- De deur van het attelier staat open, an article (in Dutch) on contentgirls.nl on how the Internet can make not just an artist’s product visible but the process as well.
- “Nu-man and other short stories” on the Kindle store.
- “The chronicles of Wormsprong” on the Kindle store.
