Thanks for your comment. I stand corrected on the ‘fanboy-ism is a male thing’ point. Glad to know that even in that realm equality reigns. Albeit in a different mode. I will withhold my post on Twiglet… ehm, Twighlight

Of course it isn’t grown out of; the epitome of fanboy-ism is politics. With time, we switch the focus of our obsessions, but they’re always there. Even if individuals grow up mentally as well as physically, there’s always another generation which hasn’t yet. And girls just fangirl differently, and in different places, than boys do- I wouldn’t want to say anything anti-Twilight anywhere near its fangirls, for instance. Girls are more likely to keep quiet until you turn your back, and then bury a knife in it…or flock their Livejournal posts about you.
